My problem with  xbox kenict is NOT the kenict it's the marketing, they are marketing it as the new wave of controller free gaming, they are ignoring the freaking other things this tech can be used for in controller gaming, And gamers are only looking at that issue and saying that's gay I don't wanta move around blah blah blah fucking blah,

GAMERS LOOK AT THE OTHER IMPLACATIONS OF THIS TECH

for instance watch the Milo video and look at it  NOT as game but as a tech demo open your minds and think of this tech in a way that relates to games you have already played(like fallout 3, or another rpg where you are implied to be the character), here ill wait  [link]

Did you open your mind to the possibilities? Imagine if you will that all the NPC's in an rpg world or just a game world in general, reacted to you in the way our friend Milo here does,

Imagine an mmorpg or something like fallout 3,  imagine your character was able to use your features to craft its in game look, and you had the option to make it your exact likeness or anything in-between, this would also apply to the fallout example above.

Imagine the way water physics and such could be better simulated, imagine the AI that could be created and how it could learn and react to each player differently,
The list goes on and on.

Gamers this is what this tech is capable of, don't close your mind to it. We are getting closer and closer(or perhaps have somewhat surpassed) what was written about in Si Fi
And I for one believe that it's asome.
